1987 Momentum receives the Eleanor Roosevelt Community Service Award
1988 Momentum is honored with the President's Volun teer Action Award Citation
July 1988 Momentum hires its first paid staff
July 1988 New site opens at St. Paul's the Apostle Church*
September 1988 New sites open at Trinity Baptist Church, Stephen Wise Church*, and St. Stephen of Hungry*
October 1988 New site opens at Yorkville Common Pantry*
November 1988 New site opens at Minority Task Force on AIDS*
March 1989 New site opens at St. Jacobi's Church*
April 1989 New site opens at Middle Collegiate Church
November 1989 Momentum incorporates as a not-for-profit organization and opens new offices as 19 West 36th Street
September 1994 New site opens at St. Mark's Episcopal Church
June 1995 New site opens at St. Cecilia's Church
