THE NEW YORK CITY COUNCIL CONDUCTS FOOD DRIVE TO

BENEFIT THE MOMENTUM PROJECT AS WE OBSERVE WORLD AIDS DAY

New York, NY, December 1, 2006 – Today, The Momentum Project, joins hands with other HIV/AIDS service organizations in New York and around the world in the fight against HIV and AIDS.

This year, the New York City Council will be collecting canned goods to be donated to The Momentum Project, and other volunteer organizations dedicated to feeding disenfranchised New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS.

Momentum is grateful to the New York City Council and Speaker Christine Quinn for remembering New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS and their families during this holiday season and on World AIDS Day.
