Momentum's Vision Statement
The Momentum Project works for the health and wholeness of individuals and families affected by the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Our vision is a day when AIDS is cured and an effective vaccine destroys the HIV virus. Until that day, we strive to create a safe, nurturing, inclusive community where each person is valued and respected. Our symbol of unity is the dinner plate and the circle of family and friends who share life by sharing food. We build hope by promoting spiritual wholeness and by encouraging each other to take responsibility for our lives and for ourselves. We stand at the forefront of the community-based programs and intend always to seek effective partnerships with other service providers who share our concern for those infected and affected by HIV disease.
